In 2022, for this book dealing with the <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">quest<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> for identity of a person who falls outside of socially accepted categories, de l&#8217;Horizon became the first non-binary person to receive the <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Deutscher Buchpreis<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (German Book Prize) and the <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Schweizer Buchpreis<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (Swiss Book Prize).
